British Science Week Primary School Visit

Today we were joined by Trinity St. Peter’s Church of England Primary School and Shoreside County Primary School.

Both schools were invited into the UTC as part of British Science Week 2016.

We gave students the opportunity to conduct a range of exciting experiments and practicals during their visit.

A Year 3 class from Trinity St. Peter’s worked in the innovation labs with a group of our Year 10 students to study Pearl Danio fish.

We were joined in the afternoon by the team from Farm Urban, who challenged a Year 6 class from Shoreside to build their own Aquaponics systems.

Both sets of students thoroughly enjoyed taking part in British Science Week 2016!

Also, a big thank you to all of our Year 10 students who were involved in today’s practicals!
