How is it assessed?

The qualification has 2 assessments which are externally set by NCFE, one of which is an exam the other an assignment.  Assessment will take place in Year 11 once all learning content has been delivered.
At the end of the three year course, you will achieve the equivalent to one GCSE, either a ‘Pass’ (grade C), a ‘Merit’ (grade B) or ‘Distinction’ (grade A).

How will this prepare me?

NCFE CACHE Level 1 / 2 Health & Social Care Health & Social Care has a focus on the holistic development on the practical, interpersonal and thinking skills required to be able to succeed at Key Stage 5.   The content considers the needs of Level 3 education providers and employers therefore  offering you the opportunity to develop a variety of skills that are applicable to a vast multitude of different areas of study.

The abilities that Health Sciences will help you to develop include:
