What happens after I apply?
You will get a confirmation email. You need to check the link to confirm your account. We’ll then keep in touch via emails and texts, so please remember to check them regularly – we don’t want you to miss out! And you’ll receive updates with the exciting things that our current students are taking part in, so you have a taste of what to expect when you join us.
- KS4 enrolments take place in July – that’s the final part of the process.
- KS5 enrolment takes place in August, during and after GCSE results day.
We know that for some people this is a long process, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch throughout the year if you have any questions – big or small.

Appeals
Parents/Carers may submit an appeal if their child’s application is unsuccessful. The appeals should be on the Appeal Form and should be submitted by 7th July 2023. Appeals hearings will take place on 12th July 2023. If an appeal is lodged after the 7th July 2023, the hearing will take place within 30 school days of the date on which it was lodged.
Sixth form appeals, where the offer of a place would have been conditional upon exam results, will be heard within 30 school days of the confirmation of the results.
