Message from the Principal

I thought that it would be useful to share key messages, in order that we all keep connected through this challenging period.

Week one is done and I have been utterly amazed at our fantastic community. Google Classroom is continuing to be a very effective platform for online learning, and I know that students have been working hard; I am so grateful to our wonderful staff who I know are going above and beyond to ensure that students continue to make progress. This is, of course, not our usual way of working, so there may be times when students need to be a little creative, or just take some time out during the day, as many of the staff are juggling their own home lives while also keeping the community learning.

With regards to examinations for Year 11 and Year 13 students, we are still waiting for news, probably in April, about how grades will be awarded. So, for now, we are encouraging students in these year groups to keep learning via Google classroom and using the resources sent to you.

Wishing everyone a peaceful weekend and many thanks for your support, we have been quite overwhelmed by your messages of appreciation.
