From Classroom to Pitch
We would like to recognise Cornelius, one of our talented Year 11 students, who plays for Liverpool FC Academy under-16 team. Cornelius has been with this prestigious academy since the age of eight, currently training after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. This consistent practice is helping him grow as a player and prepare for upcoming challenges. He joined Liverpool Life Sciences UTC in Year 10 and has greatly valued his educational experience with us. We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Cornelius for his outstanding achievements in football. We are eager to witness the exciting journey ahead of him and all the remarkable things he will accomplish in the future.

Sisi’s Football Journey
We would also like to recognise Sisi, one of our talented Ignite students, who plays for Liverpool FC Academy under-14 team. At 9 years old, Sisi was offered a place playing for Blackburn Rovers, where she spent 2 great seasons there, and then decided to trial for Liverpool FC under-14’s which meant that Sisi would be playing up a year as they did not have an under-13 team. After two intense weeks of trials at Liverpool Academy, Sisi was offered a spot on the under-14 team and is now in her second season, loving every moment. Her mum said, “It’s an amazing achievement at just 12!" Well done, Sisi! We can’t wait to see the exceptional things she will achieve in the future.
