Getting to the UTC

With an ever-increasing number of students at the Liverpool Life Sciences UTC, we make travelling to school as simple as possible. Our double-decker bus services escort our students swiftly and safely from the three main train terminals in Liverpool city centre, each morning.

Pick up times from the stations are as follows:

  • Liverpool Lime Street Station – 8.30-8.40
  • Liverpool Central Station – 8.35
  • James Street Station – 8:30, 8.50

Other useful local bus services include: Click on the numbers below for the route and timetable.

We offer travel bursaries to all students who’re commuting long distances each day.

If you’re travelling to the UTC by car, our postcode is L1 0BS, and parking is available free of charge for up to two hours in the streets surrounding the school.

It can get quite busy in the area, due to the high number of businesses nearby, so make sure you allow time for parking. Merseytravel’s journey planner can help you plan an alternative route to the school and can be found here.

Building access

The main entrance to the UTC is located on Greenland Street, and we have wheelchair access throughout the school, with disabled toilet facilities on every floor. There is lift access on every floor, helping students travel throughout the building with ease.
