Liverpool Life Sciences UTC is delighted with this year’s strong set of A level results.
The Class of 2016 have worked extremely hard over the past two years to achieve these amazing results.
Overall the UTC achieved:
- 98% A level Pass Rate
- 100% BTEC Pass Rate
- 3 x the number of students gaining 3 x A*-B
Amongst those celebrating their A level results was Shannon Thompson who received two A*’s and an A to secure her place Edinburgh University to study Chemistry.
Other students secured places to study Medicine at St Andrews University and East Anglia University, Nursing at Liverpool John Moores University, Chemistry at Liverpool University, Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University and Biological at Leeds University to name but a few.
Headteacher Mr Parry shared his thoughts about the success of the students, “The UTC is driven by brokering aspirations from every one of its students. Results day as always was a special opportunity to share in students successfully taking their next steps. I am confident that yesterday we had the next generation of medical professionals, inspiring scientists and creative minds unleashed on the world.”
