UN Sustainable Development Goals
Our Year 10 students are invited to begin a year-long enrichment project which focuses on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – a series of goals, targets and indicators for governments around the world to implement, to encourage a sustainable way of life. We’ve created a fun, competitive and interactive learning environment which encourages our students to learn about and implement the 17 SDGs, across one academic year, presenting their work via Instagram.

Working with Dr Iain Young at the University of Liverpool, students are developing a research laboratory standard system for maintaining healthy lab populations of zebra fish. So far, we have developed key skills in animal care and husbandry by monitoring and improving the lab environment, as well as engineering a system to study reproduction, embryonic development and behaviour.
